Brown gives non-answers about gun banning
We looked for a serious answer to the reporter's question to Brown, and in the hundreds of words (from the transcript) in answer, we found one statement that was definite, from Brown:
IF THERE IS LEGISLATION COMING FORWARD, MY DOOR WOULD BE OPEN. (Brown)
Senator Bob Smith follows up, referring to Brown's non-answer to this question:
THERE HE GOES AGAIN. THE ANSWER -- YOU DID NOT GET THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION. HE GOES ON AND ON. HE HAS GOT TERRIBLE RATINGS WITH ALL THE GUN ORGANIZATIONS. HE IS NOT PRO-GUN. HE IS JUST NOT PRO-GUN. IT IS FRUSTRATING. ANSWER THE QUESTION. I AM NOT GOING TO SUPPORT A BAN. I DO NOT SUPPORT PEOPLE WHO GO TO JAIL IN MASSACHUSETTS WITH A HANDGUN FROM MASSACHUSETTS. S THAT. YOU GET ALL OF THIS GOBBLEDYGOOK. THIS IS WHAT WE DO NOT NEED IN POLITICS TODAY.
It seems to us that the direct, straight answer from Senator Smith is easier to believe, probably more accurate, and yes, truthful. Oh, it's also in harmony with the second amendment and the US Constitution.
